So you’re recording or want to record audiobooks!? Awesome. Are your body and voice up to the challenge? This session will discuss the physical demands of audiobook narration. In the first half of the session, you will receive information on best practices around this important topic, including some movement and breath work/exercises that fit every body and ability. (Warning: you’ll be doing a little bit of movement and stretching.) The second half will focus on developing a personalized strategy for aural and physical stamina addressing challenges participants share with the group. Note: the presenter is not a doctor. The session will not diagnose ailments or offer medical advice.

This session will address questions such as:
How do I make sure my voice doesn’t conk out or sound horse when I have a 10 hour book to record?
How much time do I need to allot for my projects so that I sound good, and stay healthy vocally, mentally and physically?
